Hi, I’m Dean Probyn, and since 2020, I’ve been dedicated to making waste management and recycling in Brisbane and its surrounding areas easier, more efficient, and more sustainable.

At Bin Chicken Recycling, my team and I are passionate about reducing landfill waste and giving materials a second life. Since we started, we’ve recycled over 100 tons of metal and 300 liters of refrigerants, preventing 790 tons of carbon emissions—that’s the same as taking 50 average households off the grid for a year!

But it doesn’t stop there. We also recycle cardboard, polystyrene, and both hard and soft plastics, helping to keep our streets cleaner, reduce pollution in our waterways, and prevent harmful plastics from ending up in our oceans. Every item we recycle means less waste in landfills, cleaner air, and a healthier planet for future generations.
